Stealth Mode

Could not get a total stealth mode to save my soul, regardless of what filters I set in the firewall on the Linksys router or on any of my machines software firewalls. Finally, at about 4:00 a.m. in the morning, under Advanced/Forwarding in the router's browser based menu, I set it to forward all Ident port 113 calls to a nonexistent IP on my local network. After that, all probing at Sygate's web site & at Steve Gibon's web site (www.grc.com) showed me in total stealth mode, all ports blocked.
